what you need
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 jar pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce
- 1 pkg. hamburger buns
- 1 pkg. of your favorite Kraft Cheese (I used provolone the 1st time I made it. You can try other varieties; i.e. mozzarella, American, etc.)
make it
*** What is the baking temperature?
Brown ground beef in large skillet. Drain if desired. Add your sauce. Stir.
Split hamburger buns. Place halves onto cookie sheet or other shallow baking pan. Add meat/sauce mixture and place cheese on top.
Bake about 8-10 min until cheese is melted.
Notes
There can be different variations. I tried mine with the buns toasted first. It tastes good either toasted or not!
I also set aside a small bowl of sauce to put on before the meat mixture. I have 4 kids and they absolutely loved it and hubby too! It's fast, easy, and disappears quick too!
