what you need
- 1 pkg. frozen rolls (the ones you thaw and rise)
- 2-4 pkg. shredded parmesan cheese (we use 4)
- 2 Tbsp. pepper (you can grind peppercorns - it taste better)
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1 container balsamic vinegar
- 1 container olive oil
make it
Thaw the rolls in the microwave for about 2 minutes, be careful not to over thaw, or you can thaw at room temperature (Read the pkg. directions). Butter an angel food cake pan or bundt pan. Mix cheese, pepper, and garlic in a bowl.
Dip each roll into the butter, then into the cheese mixture, and then layer in the pan. When all rolls have been dipped replace any remaining cheese on top of the dough. Place a hand towel over the pan and let rise for about 1-2 hours or until the bread is risen to the top of the pan.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Place pan in the oven; be careful so it won't fall. Cook for 25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes or if brave eat hot. Use a serrated knife and cut all pieces. In a small dish place 2 tsp. of balsamic vinegar to 1 Tbsp. of olive oil. Use as dip and enjoy.
Notes
