what you need
- 1 box devil's food cake mix
- 1 container (32 ounce) ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
make it
Prepare cake mix as directed and pour into a 13 x 9 baking dish - set aside.
Blend ricotta cheese, eggs & sugar together with mixer. Spoon on top of cake mixture (use tablespoons).
Bake at 350 degrees F for 1-hour. If cooking in a glass baking dish, I find that the cooking time should be longer and so I turn the oven off and let cake set in oven for another 15 minutes or until done in the middle.
Notes
I was given this recipe by my daughter and cooked it for the first time on Sunday (10-23-04). It was a hit and it was so moist. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
