what you need
- 2 packs (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
- 1-1/3 cups sugar
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 1 stick butter, melted
- Cinnamon/sugar mixture
make it
Combine softened cream cheese and sugar in bowl.
Take one can of crescent rolls and lay flat in bottom of 9x13 pan. Spread cream cheese/sugar mixture over top of crescent rolls. Take second can of crescent rolls and lay flat on top of cream cheese mixture (you can "stretch" the crescent rolls to meet sides of pan if needed). Pour melted butter over top of crescent rolls. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Bake in 350°F oven for 30-35 minutes until top is nice and brown.
Notes
A friend who is a fireman gave me this recipe. They make it in the firehouse all the time. Everyone who tries this asks for the recipe. I am constantly making it for fundraisers at our local community center.
