what you need
- 10 Kraft Caramel Pieces (each cut into 4 pieces)
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3 cups chopped (1/2" cubes) apples
- 2/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 9" pie crust
- 1/2 cup pecan pieces (optional)
make it
Combine caramel pieces and flour. Add apples, caramel topping, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Place in 9" pie crust, sprinkle with pecan pieces.
Bake at 375°F on preheated baking sheet 40-45 minutes. Cool completely before cutting. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
Notes
For deep dish use:
15 pieces caramels (cut in 4's)
1/2 cup flour
5 cups apples
1 cup caramel ice cream topping
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Deep dish is prepared the same.
