what you need
- 1 bottle (16 ounces) KRAFT Catalina French Dressing
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 5 pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded, and/or chicken drummettes
make it
1. Mix dressing and soy sauce; reserve 1/2 cup of the dressing mixture.
2. Pour remaining dressing mixture over chicken; cover. Refrigerate several hours or overnight to marinate. Drain; discard marinade.
3. Preheat oven to 375°F.
4. Place chicken in 15x10x1-inch foil-lined baking pan. Bake 45 minutes or until golden brown, brushing halfway through baking with reserved 1/2 cup dressing mixture.
Notes
I found this simple but delicious recipe in a Kraft recipe book entitled "Holiday Homecoming" several years ago and it has become a regular dish appearing on my buffet table every Christmas Eve. My family and friends devour them and I am always jotting down the recipe for others to enjoy.
It's an excellent "make-ahead" recipe because I can prepare the wings the night before and put them in fridge to marinade. Then an hour before my guests arrive, I simply pop them in the oven.
Tip: Spray the foil-lined baking pan with non-stick spray before placing chicken on the pan.
