what you need
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped and diced
- 4 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup crushed cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Sauce to pour over meatloaf:
- 4 oz. tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. prepared, yellow mustard
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
make it
Mix ground beef together with diced onion, 4 oz. tomato sauce, egg, cracker crumbs, salt and pepper.
Form into a loaf, place into 9" x 13" greased, glass baking dish. Then make indentations in the loaf.
Prepare sauce: Mix all ingredients together and pour it over the meatloaf.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

This recipe has been a long time favorite at our house, and everyone who has ever eaten it has said it is the best they have ever had!
This meatloaf is yummy!
It also makes delicious cold meatloaf sandwiches, IF there are ever any leftovers!
