what you need
- Cake:
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 box (2.75 oz.) Blackberry Jell-O
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup blackberry wine
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
- Glaze:
- 3/4 cup blackberry wine
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
make it
Cake: Preheat oven to 350*. Grease and flour a tube or bundt cake pan. Mix ingredients in order listed above.
Bake 45 - 50 minutes. Cool in pan 10 - 15 minutes. Turn out gently onto plate. Poke holes in cake about the size of a pencil in diameter.
Glaze: Combine all glaze ingredients in saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it boils. Pour hot glaze over cake.
