what you need
- 1 1/2 pounds hamburger
- 2/3 cup Instant Minute Rice
- 1/2 diced onion (you could use dried minced onions instead)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- milk (1 to 1 1/2 cans from the soup depending on how thick or thin you want the sauce)
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups Instant Minute Rice
make it
Put the first 5 items into a bowl and mix together with your hands. Make 1" round meatballs and put them into a skillet with oil. Brown on all sides (approx. 10 to 15 minutes).
Mix the 2 cans of soup and milk in a bowl. Drain the excess oil in the skillet. Add the soup mixture and bring to a boil. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes on simmer.
Boil the 2 cups of water for the rice in a sauce pan. Cook as instructed on the box.
Pour the meatballs over a plate of rice.
