what you need
- -Mixture-
- 1 bag (28 oz.) Ore-ida Potatoes O’Brien
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/3 cup green onion
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 pint sour cream
- 2 cans cream of chicken
- -Topping-
- 1 cup crushed corn flakes more or less (optional)
- 1/4 cup melted butter more or less (optional)

Pre-heat oven to 350F. In a 9x12 inch baking glass pour in potatoes. Over the potatoes pour in melted butter, green onion, and cheddar cheese.
In a bowl mix sour cream and cream of chicken soup. Then spread over potatoes.
In another bowl crunch up corn flakes. Add in melted butter. Then spread that over the whole dish.
Bake @ 350F for 20-30 minutes or until crisp golden brown.
Notes
Grandma Bett's famous potatoes are so special to me, because she used to make them so wonderful for the family until she passed away. Every holiday we all wanted Grandma to always make her famous potatoes.
Now I can carry on the recipe and prepare it for my family and always remember our one and only Grandma Bett.
