what you need
- 1 can plum tomatoes or 6-8 fresh plum tomatoes
- 1/2 jalapeno (cut seeds out if too hot)
- 1 slice onion
- 1 bunch cilantro, cleaned and stems cut off
make it
Heat plum tomatoes on stove until boiling. If using fresh tomatoes, peel the skins off after boiling.
Add to blender, the tomatoes, (with or without juice depending on how thick you like it), jalapeno (without seeds if you don't like it too hot), onion, and bunch of cilantro. Blend for 60 seconds.
The salsa should look brownish red in color. This salsa can be served hot as well as cold.
