what you need
- 1 container (16 oz.) Breakstone's or Knudsen Sour Cream
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 2 cans (15 oz. each) refried beans
- Guacamole
- 1 jar chunky salsa
- 1 bag Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 head lettuce, shredded
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 1 can olives, sliced
- 1 bag tortilla chips
make it
Mix sour cream and taco seasoning together in bowl, and set aside.
In a large shallow pan, evenly spread: refried beans, sour cream mixture, guacamole, and salsa (in that order). Next, top with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and olives.
Chill for 1/2 hour. Serve with tortilla chips.
Notes
Guacamole dip will work for this recipe, but the dip tends to be salty, so if you can get your hands on real guacamole it works best.
I'm the assistant kitchen manager at a large restaurant in Minnesota, and I made this for our Christmas party this year and everyone loved it.
