what you need
- 1 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
make it
Melt the shortening and cocoa in pan and set aside. In a mixing bowl mix the sugar and eggs with an electric mixer. Add melted mixture, flour, vanilla, baking powder, and salt.
Put in 13x9 cake pan and bake at 350*, Bake for about 25 minutes or until it comes out clean with knife.
