what you need
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 cup of onion (real or flake-type)
- 1 package taco seasoning (mild or spicy)
- 2 cans ranch beans
- 2 cans yellow corn
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- Salt/pepper to taste (doesn't take much with everything else having salt already in it)
- 1 bag Kraft Shredded Cheese (used at time of serving)
make it
1. Brown ground beef until well done in skillet/soup pan along with browning onions.
2. Open cans of ingredients
3. Dump everything into stock pot
4. Bring temperature up to boiling, reduce temperature to low temperature
5. Turn off and let sit until cooled
6. Put in refrigerator overnight to soak up the taste of the ingredients
Notes
All ingredients items can be increased depending on size of family/guests/neighbors/and strangers when they hear about this meal !!! I promise
1. Best left to marinate overnight in refrigerator before serving the next day.
2. Serve piping hot and spread Kraft Cheese on top for individual servings.
3. Even better with Frito's added to the bottom of each bowl-full before ladening on the Taco Soup.
4. You can keep adding ingredients each day you may want to continue eating it. It's great over-and-over...especially in cold weather.
I make this each year for the guys I work with; they are so impressed, they ask for the recipe and then go home and treat their wives to something "they made".
Very simple and quite a hit !!!
