Smash graham cracker into small pieces for the crust. Melt butter; add to the smashed graham crackers and sugar. Mix well. Place in a glass oven safe cake or casserole dish. Pat down graham cracker mixture with fingers until flat and has filled the bottom of dish. Place in oven on 350 degrees F for 12 minutes. After down, leave to cool.
In a mixing bowl mix the cream cheese, lemon juice, and vanilla frosting; mix well. Then when crust in cooled, fold Cool Whip into the filling mixture and spread onto crust.
Open the can of cherry pie filling and place on top of whole cheesecake and put in refrigerator. Serve whenever you desire.
Notes
You can use whatever you desire for the topping of your cheesecake. I like to get strawberry filling and fresh strawberry to top mine. It is your choice.
