what you need
- 2 lb. hamburger
- 1 medium onion
- 1 large package wide noodles
- 1/2 jar green olives with pimento
- 1 large can mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small package Velveeta Cheese
- 1 can cream celery soup
- 1 can cream chicken soup
- 1 can 2% milk
make it
Brown hamburger and onion. Drain off fat. While the hamburger and onions are browning, cook noodles.
In a large casserole slice olives, add mushrooms, cut Velveeta cheese into chunks, add soups and milk and mix all ingredients together. Add hamburger and onion along with cooked noodles.
Bake covered in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. I serve this with a salad and rolls.
Notes
I don't remember where this recipe came from but my family named it Judy's Hotdish.
I have tried the low fat soups, but it just doesn't taste the same and someone always says "what happened to the hotdish".
