what you need
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Dijon style mustard
- 4 pork chops
- 1 tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
make it
1.) For sauce, stir together the water, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and mustard. Set aside.
2.) Trim any separable fat from pork slices. Sprinkle both sides of each slice with lemon-pepper seasoning. In a 10 inch skillet cook pork chops in hot margarine or butter over medium heat for about 7 minutes or until just slightly pink in the centers and juices run clear, turning once. Remove meat from skillet. Keep warm. Remove skillet from heat.
3.) Add sauce to skillet. Stir until well blended. Pour sauce over meat; sprinkle with parsley.
Notes
Substitutions:
Soy sauce can be substituted for Worcestershire sauce. Add a couple of sprinkles of brown sugar and mix well.
Round out Meal:
To complete meal add a salad, rolls and/or chived buttered potatoes.
