Croissant French Toast with Fresh Strawberry Syrup

what you need
- 4 large croissants
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar
- Sweetened whipped cream (optional)
- Fresh strawberries & strawberry syrup
make it
Slice croissants in half lengthwise. Whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla. Pour into a shallow dish. Dip croissant halves into egg mixture, coating well.
Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add croissant halves and cook until golden brown. Repeat with remaining halves.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar; top with whipped cream, if desired, and fresh sliced strawberries. Drizzle with strawberry syrup.

Great Breakfast Idea!!! It's French toast but with a little twist. My whole family LOVED it.
