what you need
- 1-1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2-4 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- Dash of red pepper powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 family size can chili beans
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 to 2 cans dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can chick peas/garbanzos, drained and rinsed
- 1 can tomatoes with chilies
- Kraft shredded cheese

Brown ground turkey in olive oil, add spices to meat. After meat is browned add rest of ingredients.
Let simmer for about 30 minutes. Taste to check for spices, add more chili powder or red pepper to taste. Serve with shredded cheese.
Notes
My kids love this recipe but my husband prefers it with some ground chuck and no chick peas. The chick peas gives the turkey a more meaty texture.
