what you need
- 1 container fresh strawberries
- 1 container fresh blueberries
- 1 container fresh raspberries
- 1 container fresh blackberries
- 1 can (8 oz.) mandarin oranges
- 1 can (8 oz.) pineapple chunks
- 1 bag coleslaw mix with carrots
- 1 small jar coleslaw dressing in the refrigerated section with salad mixes
- 1 bag (4 oz.) pecan slices
make it
Clean and cut up the strawberries and clean the blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. Drain the juice from the mandarin oranges and the pineapple.
Mix the fruit into the coleslaw. Use a small amount of the coleslaw dressing, just enough to coat the salad. Toss with pecan slices.
Notes
When making this salad, toss the fruit into the coleslaw mix, but do not coat with the coleslaw dressing until you are serving it. The salad will get runny it put together to far ahead of time.
This is an easy, quick spin on fruit salad and the kids love it as much as the adults.
