what you need
- 2 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 yellow onion, diced fine
- 2 cans (14 oz. each) Mexican style sliced stewed tomatoes
- 1 can (14 oz.) diced tomatoes
- 2 cans (14 oz. each) cans dark red kidney beans
- 2 pkgs. chili seasoning mix
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- Kraft Colby Jack Cheese
- 1 lb. spaghetti noodles
- 1 yellow onion, diced
make it
Cook and crumble hamburger with 1 fine diced onion mixed in to meat. Drain grease after cooking and place meat & onion in a 4 qt pan.
Add all ingredients except Colby Jack Cheese, spaghetti noodles and yellow onion. Let chili come to a slow boil and reduce heat to simmer. Cover with lid and continue to stir about every 3 minutes. Let chili simmer for at least 1 hour and its done.
Cook spaghetti noodles as directed on pkg. and drain. Have your Kraft Colby Jack cheese grated finely and dip noodles to a plate and spoon on the chili and add onions on top and cover with Colby-jack grated cheese.
Notes
The chili is great in a bowl with crackers & cheese or for little kids, use taco shell filled with chili and cheese and top with shredded lettuce. Or spoon chili on hot dogs and enjoy!:)
