what you need
- 2 flank steaks
- 2 packets taco or fajita seasoning
- Chili powder (optional)
- Ground cumin (optional)
- 1 can green chilies
- 1 large onion
- 3 Tbsp. garlic red wine vinegar
make it
1. Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray. Cut flank steaks in half. Rub with the taco seasoning and extra chili powder and cumin to taste
2. Place in the cooker and add the can of green chilies, the chopped onion and the vinegar.
3. Cook on low for 8 hours. Use two forks to shred meat in the cooker.

Awesome in burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos and salads!!!!!!
Freezes and re-heats well.
I found this recipe too mild for my taste with only the two packs of seasoning. It really jazzes the dish up if you add the cumin and the chili powder.
My Aunt uses dried Italian packets and omits the green chilies.
