what you need
- 2 cans (28 oz. each) stewed or diced tomatoes
- 1 can (26.5 oz.) tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce
- 1 medium onion
- 1 bottle (8 oz.) hot sauce
- 1 can diced green chili peppers or canned jalapenos to taste
- Add oregano & garlic salt to taste
- 1 bag tortilla chips
make it
I use a food processor and blend everything to the consistency I like.
This is better to marinate in fridge at least overnight, but don't have to.
The tomato sauce is good, but if you want a little different taste, try adding spaghetti sauce (four cheese) or whatever you like.
Notes
This recipe is so easy because you use mostly canned goods, that you have on hand. In a pinch is very easy to prepare.
The greatest thing about all dips is that you can make them hot or mild as you prefer.
This keeps very well in the fridge, so you can enjoy the salsa whenever you like. Enjoy!
