what you need
- 1 pound lean groung beef
- 4 ounces turkey pepperoni, chopped fine
- 3/4 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup grated onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 eggs, divided
- 3/4 cup Breakstone's Nonfat Cottage Cheese
- 1/4 cup Kraft Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf (Italian) parsley

Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl combine beef, pepperoni, bread crumbs, tomato sauce, onion, salt, ground pepper, oregano and 1 egg. In a medium bowl combine the other egg with cottage cheese, parmesan and parsley.
Press half of the meat mixture into a large loaf pan. Make a shallow groove lengthwise down center and spoon cheese mixture into it. Cover with remaining meat mixture and pat firmly at sides and corners.
Bake at 350F for 1 hour. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. ENJOY!
Notes
Variations:
If you can't find turkey pepperoni regular pepperoni will work fine.
You can also add 1 cup shredded zucchini to the cheese mixture.
