Easy Chile Relleno Casserole

what you need
- 2 sm. cans whole green chilies
- 3/4 lb. shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 lb. shredded jack cheese
- 1 can (13 oz.) evaporated milk
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 can green chili salsa
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
make it
Wash chilies, open flat and lay out half of the chilies on the bottom of a casserole dish. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and half of the jack cheese over the chilies.
Blend milk, egg, and flour together and pour 1/2 of the mixture over the cheese. Layer the rest of the chilies over the cheese. Sprinkle the remainder of the cheese over the chilies, and then pour the remainder of the milk mixture over the cheese.
Bake 30 minutes @ 350F. Mix salsa and tomato sauce together, then pour over the casserole, and return it to the oven for another 25 minutes.
