what you need
- 1 box brownie mix (plain-no nuts)
- 1 bag chocolate covered peppermint patties, cut into quarters
- Peppermint stick ice cream (optional)
make it
Follow the directions to make the brownie mix.
Add in the quartered peppermint patties and stir until just incorporated, don't crush!!!
Bake as directed on the box. Cool slightly. Cut into squares and serve with peppermint stick ice cream.
Notes
This makes a wonderful, simple, and festive holiday dessert. You could substitute crushed peppermint candies for the patties, but the end result is not as yummy.
