what you need
- 3 cans LeSeur young peas, drained
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup purple onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup Kraft Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Light Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
- Salt and pepper to taste
make it
Drain peas and set aside. Chop celery, onions and bell pepper. Add to peas and toss lightly.
Add cheese and salad dressing. Fold in gently.
Salt and pepper to taste and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Has been a hit in my place or work and family gatherings.
If preparing night before, put salad in a colander to drain water that will accumulate from fresh cut vegetables in the salad. Or you can cut vegetables and drain them overnight, mixing together in salad the next morning before transporting.
