what you need
- 2 pkgs. (8 oz. size) cream cheese
- 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. finely diced green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. finely diced onion
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can dried beef, finely chopped
make it
Soften cream cheese. Grate cheddar cheese. Mix together. Add remaining ingredients (except dried beef) and mix well.
Dampen hands to help prevent sticking and shape cheese balls into logs.
Roll in finely chopped dried beef.
Notes
This recipe came from a friend of my fathers. The first time I had it I was about 15. I had to have the recipe. I am not a big fan of cheese balls but I could eat the whole thing.
