what you need
- 3 cups elbow macaroni (I prefer the jumbo kind)
- 1 pkg. hot dogs
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 tsp. ground mustard
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
make it
Preheat oven to 375°F. Begin boiling the noodles. While they are cooking, cut hot dogs into 1/2 inch slices.
When noodles are prepared, drain well, and pour into a large mixing bowl along with the cut-up hot dogs, tomato soup, ground mustard, onion powder and 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well and pour into a greased 13x9 inch glass baking dish. Top with remaining 2 cups of cheese.
Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is slightly browned.
Notes
This recipe can also be halved or quartered and made in the microwave for a quick cheesy meal for less people.
