what you need
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Dash of salt
make it
Add to mixing bowl in giving order; mix.
Pour into greased and floured 13x9-inch glass or metal baking pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes in 350 degrees oven. Cool and put icing on.
Notes
Insert a wooden toothpick in the middle of cake to test for doneness.
