what you need
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 can (16 ounces) crushed pineapples
- Topping
- 2/3 cups condensed sweetened milk
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons sugar

In a 13 x 9-inch ungreased cake pan, mix all cake ingredients together with a fork or large spoon mixing well.*
Bake at 350* for 35 minutes.
Make the topping 5 minutes before the cake is done. To make topping, put all topping ingredients in a small sauce pan, bring to a boil, stir often. Boil about 3 to 4 minutes. Pour the topping over the cake while the cake is still hot and the topping is still boiling.
Notes
* The recipe does not call for a greased pan but I do spray the pan with Pam cooking spray very lightly.
