what you need
- 1 can black eyed peas, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced green and/or red bell pepper
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 bushel cilantro - tops only, chopped
- 1/2 - 1 bottle Kraft Lite or Regular Zesty Italian Dressing
- 1 garlic clove, pressed

Add all ingredients together in a large bowl.
Refrigerate overnight to soak up the flavor.
Serve with tortilla chips.
Notes
Start with about 1/2 a bottle of dressing. Just enough to make it soup-like. After refrigeration, you may need to add more dressing.
