what you need
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. season salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (Colby)
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Onion buns
make it
Mix beef, spices and cheese together until well blended and make into patties.
Preheat greased grill and cook flipping only once.
Serve with lettuce and tomato. Butter and browning buns is optional
Notes
I like to make large patties, they hold more juice. When mixing and making patties remember the least amount of handling and "smashing" will increase the tenderness and juiciness of the burger.
I use a thermometer when cooking. 160 deg. is fine, never well done
I recommend good salad and fresh cooked vegetable to go with it. Enjoy!!
