what you need
- 1.5-2 lb. ground beef
- 2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
- 4-8 oz. water
- Salt
- Pepper
- Onion powder (optional)
- Garlic powder (optional)
make it
Pack ground beef in a large skillet, almost like a huge burger patty. Cook on med-med hi for about 15 minutes.
If you can, carefully turn the 'patty' over, if not cut in quarters and turn them over. Let cook another 5 minutes. Drain carefully not to break everything up.
Add the tomato sauce and depending how thick you want the sauce add half or a full sauce can of water.
Cover and let simmer another 10-15 minutes. Add water if needed towards serving to thin the sauce.
Notes
Its a real simple recipe. My hubby loves this and my nieces and nephew love it too. Works great with mac and cheese!
