what you need
- 1 cup water
- 2 slices white bread
- 2 slices rye bread
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 3 Tbsp. Kraft Parmesan Cheese
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 2 Tbsp. oil (optional)
make it
Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Pour water over the bread slices and break up finely with a fork.
Combine all of the other ingredients, except the oil, in a bowl and mix together.
Place mixture in a loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes, or until done (if the ground beef is lean, you may want to drizzle the oil on top before baking).
Notes
If you like the spices bolder, add to your taste. I usually use more than 3 Tbsp. of parmesan.
You can also top the meatloaf with some red sauce while it is in the oven if you so desire.
