what you need
- 1 can petite diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 large can petite diced tomatoes
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- 1 medium onion
- 1 whole jalapeno pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt to taste
make it
In a large sauce pan add all ingredients. Turn burner on to medium high heat for 20 minutes, or until onions and garlic are tender.
Once the garlic and onions are tender, either put in refrigerator, or into a food processor, blending until smooth.
Notes
Salsa can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
