what you need
- 1 lb. box ditalini pasta
- 6-8 medium sized Roma (plum) tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 tsp. ground pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 ball fresh mozzarella
- 10 leaves fresh basil

Cook pasta according to package. While pasta is cooking dice your tomatoes and mozzarella to a med dice, set aside.
Heat a med-large skillet on med heat. Add oil and crushed garlic, cook 1-2 minutes. Add diced tomatoes, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Cook this for about 5-6 min or until soft.
Now your pasta should be ready. Drain pasta and add to large pasta bowl, and then add tomatoes. Add the mozzarella and chopped basil. Stir to combine all ingredients. Enjoy!
Notes
The name came from the pizza. If you have ever had the pizza you will see why same ingredients just over pasta. You can pretty much make this with any pasta but this is my favorite.
