what you need
- 1 yellow or pineapple cake mix
- 2 cans crushed pineapple in syrup, well drained (saving liquid)
- 1 box vanilla instant pudding
- 8 oz. cream cheese, soften
- 1 cup milk
- 16 oz. Cool Whip
- Coconut
make it
Prepare cake as directed on box using the reserved liquid from pineapple in place of water. Bake as directed.
Whip pudding, cream cheese, and milk. Refrigerate while cake is baking.
On cooled cake spread cream cheese mixture on top of cake. Spread pineapple on top of cheese mixture. Frost cake with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with coconut. Keep refrigerated.
