what you need
- 1 bunch green onions
- 2 containers (16 oz. each) sour cream
- 1 bottle real bacon bits
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
make it
Chop green onions until greens become hollow.
Put all ingredients into large mixing bowl and mix well.
Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours before serving to allow flavors to blend.
Notes
To make a hot version of this dip, substitute 1 pkg. (16 oz.) cream cheese for one of the containers of sour cream. Blend all ingredients using a hand mixer. Place in baking dish. Bake on 350°F until dip is bubbly & brown along edges.
