what you need
- 6 green peppers
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheese
make it
Cut tops and seeds from peppers and par boil them for 7-10 minutes.
Brown ground beef and onion together. Add the rice, water, and tomatoes. Cook until rice is tender & mixture is slightly soupy. Remove from heat. Add cheese stir until melted.
When cheese is melted, spoon mixture into prepared green peppers. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes.
