what you need
- 1 cup melted Kraft oleo
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 pkg. (7 oz.) refrigerated Kraft biscuits
- 1/2 cup Kraft jam, jelly, or pie filling
make it
Melt oleo in microwave bowl about 45 seconds. Put brown sugar in a bowl. Preheat oven to 425 deg.
Dip each biscuit in oleo. Dip liberally in sugar and put in pan. Make an indentation in biscuit and plop on generous heaping tsp. jelly or pie filling (my favorite = chocolate, lemon, apple, cherry, or strawberry jelly).
Bake at 425 about 10 minutes or till crunchy golden brown. Let sit 10-15 minutes and transfer to plate. Enjoy!
Notes
I have tried this with grands biscuits, and also white sugar, neither one gives this recipe it's unique identity of being crunchy and crispy like-.canned pie mixes like iI used-,chocolate and lemon hold up very well when baked.
