what you need
- 1 box butter recipe cake mix
- 1 can cream of coconut
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 large tub Cool Whip
- 1 pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
- 1 aluminum pan - lasagna is best because it is deep enough for cake & topping
make it
Bake cake as directed on package. Be sure to use a cookie sheet under the aluminum pan for support.
When the cake is done take it out of the oven and poke holes in it with a fork. Immediately pour on the coconut cream, try to cover all areas.
Let cake cool completely and then pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake. Then spread the Cool Whip on and top with the coconut. Cover and refrigerate.
Notes
It really is good if you make it the day before the flavors seem to mingle.
