what you need
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 cup dried bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried mustard
- 1/3 cup diced onions
- 1 small can (6 oz.) evaporated milk
- Glaze:
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped onion or minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
make it
Combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, dried mustard, and onions into a bowl. Slowly add evaporated milk until well moistened and formed. All of the milk may not be used.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix glaze together and pour over meatloaf.
Put loaf into lightly greased pan and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
