what you need
- 1 lb. box tri-color rotini, cooked, drained and rinsed with cold water
- 1 red onion, diced
- 1 pkg. imitation crab meat, diced
- 1 seedless cucumber, diced
- 1 can black olives, sliced
- 1 can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 lb. pepperoni or salami from deli, sliced
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) mixed shredded cheese, of your liking
- 1 or 2 hard-boiled eggs, diced
- 1 bottle each Kraft Italian and Ranch Dressing
make it
Cook pasta according to package directions drain and rinse with cold water. Put in large bowl, add all ingredients to bowl, except dressings, and toss to mix.
Add ranch and Italian dressings to your taste. (More Italian for zestier flavor and more ranch for creamier flavor.) Toss together until well coated.
Refrigerate until chilled; add more dressing as needed to refresh pasta.
Notes
You can just about add any of your favorites to this recipe, to make it your own twist. It is very refreshing.
I have also made it with canned chicken instead of crab, and pepperoni/salami, and have added broccoli and tomato to make it a more summer treat.
So have fun because this is almost a fail proof recipe.
