what you need
- 2 lb. pork roast (any cut)
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 crusty sandwich buns
make it
1. Place pork in crock-pot. In a bowl, combine 1 cup water with the ketchup, vinegar, onion, garlic, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce, stir well. Pour sauce over the roast.
2. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, until the meat falls apart.
3. Remove pork from cooker and let cool slightly. Remove and discard any bones. Shred meat using two forks. Return meat to crock-pot and stir into the sauce. Serve on buns.
Notes
If sauce is too thin, pour it into a saucepan and simmer for about 10 minutes to thicken.
