what you need
- 8 oz. container low fat plain yogurt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. paprika (smoky, if you can find it)
- 1-1/2 tsp. honey
make it
Into yogurt container, mix all ingredients.
Refrigerate at least 1/2 hour before use to let flavors develop.
Notes
This is a variation on a recipe I saw on the FoodNetwork. If you like a more mild dip, either reduce spices by half or use 2 containers of yogurt. If you want a thicker dip, replace some yogurt with low fat mayonnaise.
I dip carrots into this dip as an afternoon snack. I am guaranteed no MSG or any other ingredients I don't want.
