what you need
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- Dash salt
- 1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained (save 2/3 cup syrup)
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 16 large marshmallows, quartered
- 2/3 cup crushed pineapple
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 pint Cool Whip
- 1 graham cracker crust
make it
Mix sugar, flour and salt. Add pineapple juice, blend, and cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly.
Add a little hot mixture to egg; stir into remaining hot mixture; cook until thick. Add marshmallows; stir until marshmallows melt completely. Add pineapple & pecans; chill 1 hour.
Fold into whipped cream. Pour into pie pan lined with graham cracker crust. Chill 30 minutes before serving.
