what you need
- 8-10 Roma tomatoes
- 2 jalapeños
- Cilantro
- Salt and pepper
- Lime juice
make it
1. Place all in skillet.
2. Cook on low/medium heat for about 90 minutes (flip tomatoes and jalapeños occasionally).
3. They are done when black on the outside, and falling apart on the inside.
4. Place tomatoes in blender.
5. Add 1/4 of a de-seeded jalapeno.
6. Blend.
7. Continue adding de-seeded jalapeno to desired spiciness.
8. Add salt, pepper, lime juice and cilantro to taste.
9. Blend and serve warm.
Notes
This is a warm, non-chunky salsa.
