Iowa Farm Stuffed Pork Chops

what you need
- 6 thick pork chops, with pockets cut in fat side
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Pepper
- 1 1/2 cups stuffing cubes
- 1 1/2 cups Kraft Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped unpared apple
- 2 Tbsp. light raisins
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 2 Tbsp. orange juice
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Salt and pepper inside of pork chop pockets. Toss together stuffing cubes, cheese, apples and raisins.
Combine melted butter, orange juice, salt and cinnamon, then pour over cube mixture and toss gently. Stuff chops.
Bake at 350 degrees F in shallow baking pan 1 1/4 hours. Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes more.

This is my mom's recipe -- a WONDERFUL Iowan cook. I live in California and hate cooking, but this is so easy it's fun. Every time I serve this, people rave...guests and family, adults and kids alike. My hubby practically cries tears of joy whenever it comes out of the oven. A sure thing!
