what you need
- 3 cups water
- 1 1/2 lb. stewing meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 4 carrots, diced
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) tomatoes
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. (10-oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 Tbsp. dried basil
- 1/2 cup dry vermicelli
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- Grated parmesan cheese

1. Combine all ingredients except cheese in slow cooker. Stir well.
2. Cover. Cook on low 12 hours or high 4-5 hours.
3. Top individual servings with parmesan cheese.
